Welcome to House of Software – Sønderborg

House of Software (HoS) is a local initiative and upcoming association aiming to strengthen the software sector in Sønderborg and the surrounding area. We work to create value through collaboration on local challenges and opportunities related to digitalization and software development.

Our ambition is to create a strong professional environment that can retain talent, promote innovation, and support growth in the local business community.

We strengthen the local talent pool through knowledge sharing, courses, and close ties to educational institutions such as SDU and EASV.

Knowledge and Events

We hold Tech Talks, workshops, and are working on local Tech Fairs to ensure new knowledge about technologies like AI and blockchain is available locally.

Through a ‘Developer Community’ and mentorship schemes, we create professional sparring and increased mental security in employment.

Bridging to the Future

We facilitate access to student jobs, internships, and project collaborations to connect students closely with local companies early in their education.

Workforce Flexibility

We support opportunities for “secondment” (employee exchange) to help companies scale according to their needs.

Partners and Steering Committee

Collaboration is a core value for us. We actively work with actors such as SDU, EUC Syd, EASV, Sønderborg Vækstråd, GOTO Sønderborg, STEAR, and DigitalLead to achieve the best results for the area.

The initiative is currently driven by a steering group with representatives from, among others, Agramkow Fluid Systems, SDU TEK Innovation, ASA Software, eCo Solutions, EASV, SpeedAdmin, Sønderborg Vækstråd, Software Forum Alssund, and BetterBI.
